Here's a comprehensive list of all of the tunings and capo positions for the songs from all of David's CDs.  'Capo 4' means a capo on the 4th fret.  'Cut capo 4' means a 'drop D' type capo on the 4th fret - this is a capo that has a hole in it to allow the bottom string to ring through while the other 5 strings are capoed.  At times David will use a full capo below the cut capo to capo that single string.  That would, for example,  be indicated as 'Cut capo 4, Full capo 2'.   You can see an example of this capo here
